This is from 2009. WBZ News had a story about a man who was arrested as a terrorist. I initially had a link, but they've since changed their site around. It's okay however, because, despite my preference to offer the source from which I create my gibberish, you don't really need the source to understand my point.

A man was arrested in the sleepy town of Sudbury and is charged with plotting incidents of local terrorism. On the commercial break, the anchor said the station was asking people if they feel safer when terrorists are caught before they can cause damage.
I considered the question for quite some time before deciding that in fact, NO! I would feel much safer if terrorists were caught after having carried out an attack and I was left lying on the ground in a pool of my own blood while attempting to pick up my organs and shove them back into my body.
